Качество научного обеспечения модернизации образования

Abstract

The article deals with the issues of the quality of scientific ensuring of the moderniza-tion of education from the point of view of the methodology of science and educational practice. The author proceeds from the assumption that the main criteria of defining the quality of education is its ability to meet the challenges and modern life. The leading role of targeting in the assessment of qualitative parameters of modernization is pointed out as well as the evolution of this didactic category in a broad historical context. The author states the excelling role of science in conducting educational reforms, the necessity of integrating theoretical and methodological humanitarian knowledge with the purpose of elaborating the methodology of modern pedagogy proper to the modern stage of historical development.
