Abstract

The state of demographic processes in Belarus in the post-revolutionary twenty years’ period is given analysis to. The historical background of their development and researches is described. Considered are the economic and demographic conception of M.V. Dovnar-Zapolsky, the contribution to the development of demographic medicine made by B.J. Smulevich and specificity of the analysis of family and marital relations made by S.Ya. Wolfson. The essence of the demographic processes’ sociological interpretation suggested by the Belarusian scientists and their interrelation with the trends in world sociology and demography are indicated. = Анализируется состояние демографических процессов Беларуси в послереволюционное двадцатилетие. Характеризуется исторический фон их развития и исследований. Рассматриваются экономико-демографическая концепция М.В. Довнар-Запольского, вклад в развитие демографической медицины Б.Я. Смулевича, особенность анализа семейно-брачных отношений С.Я. Вольфсона. Показывается сущность социологической трактовки демографических процессов белорусских ученых и их взаимосвязь с тенденциями мировой социологии и демографии.
