Monte Carlo Simulation of the Electromagnetic Calorimeter Work by GEANT4

Заглавие документа: Monte Carlo Simulation of the Electromagnetic Calorimeter Work by GEANT4
Авторы: Salianka, R. V.
Аннотация: Experimental and theoretical studies of direct photon production in hadronic collisions essentially expand our insights about multiparticle production mechanisms. These photons are useful probes to investigate nuclear matter at all stages of the interaction. Soft photons(SP) play a particular role in these studies. A specific feature of the proposed photon detector
is its capability to measure low energy deposit Ethresh ≤ 5 MeV. SP investigations are proposed to study at SVD-2 setup at U-70 accelerator, IHEP (Protvino, Russia), Nuclotron at JINR (Dubna, Russia) and at future collider NICA (JINR). For these purposes an electromagnetic calorimeter (ECal) is manufactured of BGO scintillators. The results of Monte Carlo simulation of ECal job for soft photon registration by using GEANT4 is presented.

Заглавие документа: Operation with Laser Radiation by Using of Liquid Crystal Elements
Авторы: Kazak, A. A.; Tolstik, A. L.; Melnikova, E. A.; Komar, A. A.
Аннотация: A new method of creation the electrically controlled diffraction elements has been proposed and experimentally implemented , which is based on a nematic liquid crystal and orienting photopolymer material. These elements were developed to form singular optical beams with a given topological charge and to transform a linearly polarized light beam into a beam with radial or azimuthal polarization. Also, was investigated the propagation of laser radiation
in a spatially structured layers of nematic liquid crystal with an anomalously high value
of birefringence and the laws of reflection of light beams at the boundary between the two mesophases were founded. The conditions for total internal reflection, waveguide propagation and polarization separation of light beams were identified.

Авторы: Alevanau, Aliaksandr; Yang, Weihong; Blasiak, Wlodzimierz; Kuznechik, Olgerd; Vyhoniailo, Oleksandr
Аннотация: The general problem of a decrease of activation energy for reactions of thermal
decomposition in ligno-cellulosic materials in the end of the high-temperature pyrolysis has been discussed. Experiments emphasizing the differences between the starting, intermediate and final stages of the process were conducted. A hypothesis to solve the problem from the point of view of a fundamental fractal theory was formulated. The conclusions of the discussions related to the hypothesis gave a description of new experiments to prove the fundamental theory on diffusion processes with naturally or artificially created conditions for self-organization.

Three-Boson Form-Factors in W-Pair Production

Заглавие документа: Three-Boson Form-Factors in W-Pair Production
Авторы: Gilewsky, V.
Аннотация: In view of future linear collider the role of W+W+-pair production is reanalyzed. The
W-pair production cross-section is an order more then one for fermion pair creation or any other reactions. This reaction is not only a big background but has to be used as main information channel replacing fermion pairs. Here we investigate the role of form-factors in tri-linear vector boson vertex, which reproduced any modifications of vertex gauge structure.
