LAS BARRERAS DE SALIDA EN LAS EMPRESAS GALLEGAS: UN ELEMENTO DE DISTORSIУN FRENTE A LA CRISIS

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to identify what are the key factors that affect to competitiveness according to the opinion of directors belonged to a sample of 320 Galician companies. Profitability in a company can be affected by environment in a specific sector. In this context, the strong barriers for abandoning a sector are probably the main threats that Galician companies have. Thus, more than half interviewed directors considered these barriers as important problems for them. Thanks to both the analysis of these aspects and the establishment of their hierarchical order, authors have detected opportunities and threats in companies.
