Abstract

The primary target of this article is the research of the American national-cultural identity and its symbols. The depositary of the American identity includes all aspects of american history, pays intent attention to beauty of its environment and nature, its territory etc., and not to the matters of blood, race, language or religion. The core of the American national-cultural identity manifests itself in such symbols as the American Flag, the Statue of Liberty, superheroes of comics etc.
