Abstract

In the article authors have carried out an analysis of regional socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus, emphasized the groups of regions in accordance with the level of socio-economic development, identified the crucial asymmetry in the development of the regions of the Republic of Belarus; identified external and internal factors of regional differentiation, evaluated the influence of regional socio-economic differentiation on the sustainable development of the Republic of Belarus, developed science-based recommendations for the improvements in regional policy to avoid regional socio-economic differentiation and to ensure sustainable development of the Republic of Belarus.
