Особенности стратегии совладания у больных с социально-значимыми заболеваниями

Abstract

The article analyses peculiarities of coping strategies in patients with socially significant diseases, namely with HIV-infection. Psychological and social factors in case of HIV-infection could be the cofactors of the disease’s progression, but at the same time, the extent to which this factor can be stressful depend on coping strategies. Strategies of coping behavior allow disclosing adaptive capacities of patients with HIV-infection in the process of their overcoming the intra- and interpersonal conflict in the situation of an acute or chronic stress. It determines the character of an individual’s position on his way to managing the disease and to formation of a new quality of life with a disease as its part.
